I am a 50-something girl who is passionately and deeply in love with Jesus.  I gave Him my heart at a very young age.

Much of my spiritual growth took place during the 6 years I served with Youth With a Mission, leading schools, discipling students, and teaching in the School of Biblical Studies.

The Lord has also refined me through my marriage to Steve these past 26 years and through parenting, as we have sought to disciple our kids through home education.  Our oldest is now 21 and our youngest is 14.  We are still educating our 2 youngest, who are both in high school.

A few things about me you probably don’t know.
*My nickname is Lu.
*Steve proposed to me in a hot air balloon.
*I was a barefoot bride.
*All 4 of my kids were born naturally, 3 of whom were born at home.
*I love to travel – and have been to 31 countries and have visited almost all 50 states, with only a few states remaining to visiton the east coast.
*Steve and I have lived in 5 states and in 15 different houses.
