Seek

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.
It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
Lamentations 3:26-27

The Christian life is one that is filled with awe and wonder.
Yet, it comes with the price of seeking.

Seek the Lord and His strength;
seek His presence continually.
Psalm 105:4

It has been said that if we seek Him, He will be found.
He waits patiently for us to seek Him.
Peace, comfort, hope, rest, and salvation will be found when we seek Him.

Seeking requires action.
Seeking requires surrender.
Seeking requires effort.

It requires us to give up other desires.
It requires that we devote time to it.

He will render to each one according to his works;
to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immoratalith,
He will give eternal life;
but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth,
but obey unrighteousness,
there will be wrath and fury.
Romans 2:6-8

The Christian life is the only answer to all of our questions.
It is the only faith that begins and ends with a person waiting for us to find Him.
God in three persons.
The Spirit draws us to seek.
The Son has given us the path on which we can seek.
The Father is waiting to be found.

Every answer is found in seeking Him.
No other path will lead to the right answers.

Seeking is also a passive verb.
It requires waiting.
As we wait, He will reveal Himself.

He is the answer.
He is the source.
He is the outcome.

We must seek HIM.
We cannot seek specific answers to our questions.
It’s in seeking HIM that He will be found.
We need nothing more.

Just seek.
